Hannah’s contribution to the award winning Frontier series, published by LA based Youth in Decline, is a series of 15 weavings recounting memories and moments of travel in Baja California, scanned and printed to scale with accompanying illustrated glyphs.
Frontier #19 investigates the book format as a vehicle for communicating the tactile, sensory, linguistic as well as nomadic qualities of weaving, through documenting memories of travel.
Gouache paintings, photographs and a process interview are presented alongside.
