Girotondo

This silk scarf ‘Girotondo’ (Italian for round and round) explores a trip I took from Rome to Sorrento and back to Rome again in the summer of 2014.

To produce this limited edition textile, I have worked closely with one of the last remaining silk mills near Macclesfield in Cheshire, where silk scarves have been produced for over 300 years. This  beautifully versatile textile can be worn and displayed in an array of ways, – perfect for a neckerchief, or framed as artwork.
