Baja Weaving series – Locusts of La Paz

This Baja series was handwoven by Hannah in 2019, commissioned originally by Youth In Decline publishers (USA) for their Frontier series of Artist books. Each of the weavings in the series are based on memories from a trip Hannah made in 2003 to Baja California in Mexico with my sister. They are sold as seen here, mounted on natural linen with the glyph titles digitally embroidered on the linen, and are shipped on the oak hangers with insured tracking in a protective postal tube.
