Girotondo

This silk scarf ‘Girotondo’ (Italian for round and round) explores a trip I took from Rome to Sorrento and back to Rome again in the summer of 2014.

To produce this limited edition textile, I have worked closely with one of the last remaining 2 silk mills near Macclesfield in Cheshire, where silk scarves have been produced for over 300 years. This  beautifully versatile textile can be worn and displayed in an array of ways, – perfect for a neckerchief, or framed as artwork.
